Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Location Manager to join our team. In this position you are responsible for daytoday management of company operations. Exercises management principles to ensure profitability control assets and communicate company philosophy and objectives to the staff and community.

  • Adheres to and implements all company policies and procedures
  • Calls on key referral sources and maintains key accounts
  • Conducts inservice training for appropriate staff members at routine intervals on products telephone techniques thirdparty payer procedures or other relevant topics as necessary or desirable to improve service
  • Conducts physical inventory as required
  • Develops a CSR team to enhance staff telemarketing skills and ability to identify customer needs
  • Develops and maintains a working knowledge of current Medicare Medicaid and insurance regulations
  • Develops at least one employee per year who can assume a management role
  • Ensures company standard of inventory level is met
  • Ensures that Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMN) and other documentation required for reimbursement are procured in a timely manner
  • Evaluates each employee annually and establishes goals for upcoming year
  • Initiates appropriate actions on reports and recommendations provided by authorized inspection agencies
  • Interviews and hires staff as needed and approved by senior management with emphasis on recruiting bestqualified candidates
  • Introduces and implements a quality improvement program to comply with company and JCAHO standards
  • Maintains a binder in company that contains all newsletters and other policy correspondence from the Billing Department or payer
  • Maintains and updates all manuals necessary for company operations and establishes process to evaluate companys compliance with applicable policies and procedures
  • Maintains ongoing liaison with company staff Billing Department senior management and / or corporate staff as required
  • Manages materials procurement and distribution
  • Monitors and controls the company assets at both the company location and in customers homes
  • Monitors and establishes a positive working relationship with the Billing Department
  • Monitors company operational expenses to comply with established percentage to revenue limits
  • Monitors marketing plan and budget monthly
  • Monitors the A/R aging report to attain A/R goals
  • Participates in regional/local meetings as requested
  • Takes appropriate action to ensure that the company complies with applicable laws and regulations
  • May be required to cover on call drive a company vehicle and make deliveries to patients homes
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Employment is contingent on

  • Background investigation (companywide)
  • Drug screen (when applicable for the position)
  • Valid drivers license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)

Required Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Preferred Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related or equivalent experience in HME Home Health Industry or Business
  • Experience with medical equipment preferred
  • Experience with medical billing practices and of billing reimbursement preferred
  • Experience in medical field and administrative record management preferred
  • Four years of related work experience preferred
  • Medical terminology preferred

  • Interpret a variety of communications (verbal nonverbal written listening and visual)
  • Maintain confidentiality discretion and caution when handling sensitive information

  • Lifting may be required
  • May be required to cover on call drive a company vehicle and make deliveries to patients homes
  • Requires sitting walking standing talking and listening
  • Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork
