Job Description

Job Summary:

A client of ours in Rockville MD is looking for a Software Engineer (.NET) for a Contract to Hire opportunity.

Mandatory Skills:

Classic ASP Webforms ASP.net Azure Devops CI/CD

Responsibilities:

Develop web applications and APIs using technologies such as C# and ASP.NET

Be part of an agile team delivering high quality software

Conduct unit integration load and accessibility testing

Develop design documentation

Work closely with other team members to implement and support planned functionality

Adhere to buildandrelease schedules and strategies

Evaluate new technologies and remain current with emerging technologies and industry best practices

Execute other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience

4 years experience in C# ASP.NET applications REST/WebAPI .NET Core MVC

Experience with MS SQL Server

Experience with JavaScript libraries (e.g. jQuery Angular React VueJS)

Experience with CSS libraries (e.g. Bootstrap)

Experience with objectoriented concepts and design patterns

Experience in Agile software development

Experience with Team Foundation Server as a code repository

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science or related field

Minimum 10 years of Software Engineer (.NET) Experience.

Experience with Cloud technologies AWS or Azure

Experience/Knowledge in developing applications using open source stacks

Strong presentation skills
