Title: Workday Implementation Consultant Human Resource Focus
Location: 100% Remote (Madison WI)
Duration: 12 months Contract
Position Overview:
- As a Workday implementation contractor you will play a key role in the successful implementation of Workday Human Resource Management modules within our organization.
- You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to analyze business requirements configure the Workday platform to meet those requirements and ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather document and analyze business requirements related to HR needs.
- Lead and support the implementation of Workday HCM modules including Core HR Compensation Time Tracking and Attendance Reporting and Analytics and Talent Optimization and Recruiting.
- Configure Workday system to align with clientspecific HR policies processes and organizational structures.
- Lead testing efforts including but not limited to; preparation and documentation of test cases as well as managing the execution of system integration testing user acceptance testing and endtoend testing.
- Provide enduser training and support during the implementation process.
- Develop desktop procedures end user documentation business process maps and other reference/training materials as needed.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate client stakeholders on Workday functionality and best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to client teams during data migration testing and deployment phases.
- Work closely with project managers and other consultants to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and objectives.
- Document configuration decisions process flows and system enhancements.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and key milestones.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide resolutions during implementation and postimplementation support phases.
- Stay updated on Workday product releases and enhancements and assess their potential impact on client implementations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of implementation methodologies tools and templates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
- Workday HCM certification(s) required.
- Proven experience in implementing Workday HCM solutions with a focus on Core HR Compensation Talent Optimization is required.
- Handson experience configuring Workday HCM Management modules.
- Experience with data migration integration and reporting within Workday.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices including but not limited to employee lifecycle management compensation planning and performance evaluation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively train lead workshops facilitate discussions and deliver presentations effectively.
- Analytical mindset with problemsolving skills capable of translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to finance processes.
- Configure Workday Financial Management modules including but not limited to Core Financial General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Cash Management Adaptive Planning Projects Procurement and Financial Reporting.
- Customize Workday functionality through configuration including creating calculated fields custom reports and integrations.
- Lead testing efforts including but not limited to; preparation of test cases as well as managing the execution of system integration testing user acceptance testing and endtoend testing.
- Provide enduser training and support during the implementation process. Develop desktop procedures end user documentation business process maps and other reference/training materials as needed.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate client stakeholders on Workday functionality and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Workday Financials certification(s) is required.
- Proven experience with Workday Financial Management implementation projects is required.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles and processes.
- Handson experience configuring Workday Financial Management modules.
- Experience with data migration integration and reporting within Workday.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
