To provide support to the team in ensuring that the highest standards of service are offered to our guests. Key Deliverables and Responsibilities Ensure correct grooming standards are followed at all timesFollow the Care Programme at all timesFollow up on all financials, LQA, Forbes and TrustYou targetsIs aware of the daily and monthly financial targetsActively contributes towards the achievement of financial targetsKeep manager on duty updated of any guest feedback so they can update the Glitch ReportCompletes the relevant opening and closing checklistsMaintains the HACCP & FIFO standards as required by the regional governing bodyHandle financial procedures according to guidelines set by the finance departmentAssume the responsibility of daily beverage operationsAttends daily briefings prior to commencement of shiftEnsure all appropriate equipment is on hand for each service periodShould be creative, confident and prepared to think outside of the boxFollowing the personal development plan set by the Restaurant General ManagerEnsure the operational inventory is always accounted for and in immaculate conditionCreate opportunities for upselling productsFollow Hotel Evacuation Policy in case of an EmergencyEnsure awareness and delivers the optimum levels of service and guest satisfactionConducts in weekly alcohol and liquor inventoryPrepares Store requisitions / Bar requisitions, etc.Flexible to work in other areas when required by the immediate Supervisor.Records and submits all inventory transfer recordsRecord any wastage, breakage or loseEnsures excellent set up and delivery of the outlet barPrepares the relevant mise en place for all beverage related requirementsPicks up and stores all the beverage related inventoryTo feel empowered, proactive and accountable within the work placeQualifications Personal Attributes Motivator & role modelPositive attitude and well spokenResult drivenDisplays initiativeCommitment to professional valuesTeam creatorCustomer / people orientedCreative / open-minded
