Mac Support Technician

MAC (Apple Devices) Support Technician provides daytoday desktop support receives inbound calls answer questions troubleshoots and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware software and application issues in a ticketing system.

Daily Job responsibilities:

• 1st 2nd and 3rd line support of Mac s
  
• Imaging/reimaging and deployment of Mac hardware.
  
• Server administration of JAMF Server
  
• Maintain Casper and create images of OS and packages as needed.
  


Must have skills:

• MAC Hardware troubleshooting experience.
  
• Imaging/reimaging knowledge for MAC devices.
  
• Experience/knowledge on JAMF to create images of OS and packages as needed
  
• Experience/knowledge on Server administration of JAMF Server
  
• Application troubleshooting experience/knowledge on MAC devices
  
• New hardware compatibility and testing
  
• Experience/knowledge on MAC devices/environment to provide support towards : File Server access/troubleshooting Print Queue management Mobile device management New hardware compatibility and testing.
  
• Remote support capabilities to support MAC devices across globe
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in computer science (or related area) with 3 yrs of experience on MAC
  
• support.
  
• Relevant certification/s on MAC
  
• Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or ITIL certification preferred equivalent certification in relevant
  
• Good Verbal and Written communication skills
  
• Working knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems like Windows 7 / 8.1 /10
  
• Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and TCP/IP ports HTTP HTTPS and file sharing
