MAC (Apple Devices) Support Technician provides daytoday desktop support receives inbound calls answer questions troubleshoots and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware software and application issues in a ticketing system.
Daily Job responsibilities:
- 1st 2nd and 3rd line support of Mac s
- Imaging/reimaging and deployment of Mac hardware.
- Server administration of JAMF Server
- Maintain Casper and create images of OS and packages as needed.
Must have skills:
- MAC Hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Imaging/reimaging knowledge for MAC devices.
- Experience/knowledge on JAMF to create images of OS and packages as needed
- Experience/knowledge on Server administration of JAMF Server
- Application troubleshooting experience/knowledge on MAC devices
- New hardware compatibility and testing
- Experience/knowledge on MAC devices/environment to provide support towards : File Server access/troubleshooting Print Queue management Mobile device management New hardware compatibility and testing.
- Remote support capabilities to support MAC devices across globe
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in computer science (or related area) with 3 yrs of experience on MAC
- support.
- Relevant certification/s on MAC
- Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or ITIL certification preferred equivalent certification in relevant
- Good Verbal and Written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems like Windows 7 / 8.1 /10
- Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and TCP/IP ports HTTP HTTPS and file sharing
