Job Description

About the role Perform operational and functional tasks associated to the handling of SGHA Service Level Agreements thereby ensuring that the GHA delivers the service based on the set KPI’s and SLA’s. Review, analyse, negotiate and draft GHA contracts based on IATA AHM Standard Ground Handling Agreement. Required to liaise with Ground Services Management teams and Network Stations on all contractual aspects related to SGHA ensuring attention to detail to achieve maximum benefit out of the contracting party thereby minimizing risk exposure and focus on handling times. Key accountabilities include: • Monitor and measure defined KPI’s to ensure they meet the agreed Service level targets. • Initiate Contracts with SGHA depending on Services required from Ground Handling perspective. Required to enter in to Negotiations with supplier/provider only for operational Terms & Conditions and not Commercial negotiations. • Ensure all the Services are covered and listed as per Standard Ground Handling Agreement based on IATA’s latest SGHA guide. • Suggest ways to improve the entire contractual processes and ensure good relationship with potential suppliers/customers alike. • Implement operational procedures, processes and governance supporting the SGHA management Contractual process. • Liaise within GS Management Operational teams and internal departments such as Procurement, Contracts and Finance to report performance issues on Supplier performance and take necessary action to resolve such issues • Identify service breaches/gaps and take suitable action in order to resolve such issues. • Initiate GHA SLA review and amendments in accordance with company requirements to ensure supplier/provider meets required standards. • Improve quality of contracts to the benefit of airline by understanding and modifying certain contractual terms and assuring an “all covered” work product. • Support Procurement in re-negotiations (where required) depending on the rates associated to services as per global practise and ensure that QR enters in to a continuous, productive and cost effective business. • Identify and mitigate areas of concern affecting the contracts. • Manage Contract approvals/renewals in line with Approval hierarchy set by company. • Identifying and driving category opportunities in conjunction with client departments and the category manager, constructively challenging requirements and scope of work to ensure that services procured reflect the best ROI for the business. • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department Be part of an extraordinary story Your skills. Qualifications About you The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills: • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience • Airport Operations experience • Excellent communication skills • Decision making and problem solving skills • Excellent Negotiation skills • Contracts management or relevant organizational experience in dealing with contracts and supplier management
