Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Operations
- Perform Job Safety Assessments and Safety Walks to identify job-site hazards when traveling to sites.
- Lead, coach, and manage a team to support the operational portfolio SCADA systems for utility scale renewable projects split between various technologies and architectures (Wind, Solar, BESS, Hybrid, etc.)
- Execute the strategy to improve SCADA implementations through review and approval of vendor proposals impacting SCADA platforms for Solar, BESS and Wind technologies
- Deliver continuous improvement of Points Lists, Alarm Standards, HMI implementation, and Reporting functions to deliver operational requirements
- Manage team to Improve SCADA integrations with technologies including Inverters, BESS, Wind Turbines, Trackers, Meteorological sensors and more
- Support the operations and improvement of PPC (Power Plant Controller) control logic schemes to ensure plants meet requirements for curtailment, battery charge/discharge schemes, AVR (Volt-Var, PF, MVAR, etc.), Frequency Response, Substation Controls including Breakers and Capacitor Banks, PV Trackers, and more.
