Precision Engineering Machine Shop seeks an experienced Quality Inspector to carry out firstoff/ intermediate inspection checks on submitted work. Carrying out material clearance prior to issue to the shop floor. Ensuring that final inspection is carried out in accordance with relevant work instructions. Raising internal reject notes when nonconforming products is identified. Require working in other areas of scope of work as stipulated by the team leader from time to time. Authority to reject nonconforming items awaiting management decision on rework/scrap. Min Grade 12 N4 Mechanical engineering or similar and certified QC training 5 years manufacturing experience 1 year QC experience and experienced in using measuring equipment (micrometer vernier shadow graphs etc.) and CMM and smart scope camera systems.

Shift work applies day07h3015h30 and afternoon 15h3023h30. Overtime will be paid when applicable.
