Job Description
Islington Council is proud to be a Borough of Sanctuary and we extend the offer of welcome to asylum seekers living in Islington, alongside ongoing responses for refugees and people effected by the ‘no resource to public funds’ condition.
We need a NRPF Refugee and Migrant Officer who can:
- Deliver the council's strategic response to large scale Home Office asylum accommodation in Islington.
- Implement effective casework responses in partnership with organisations commissioned to deliver services to refugees and migrants.
- Be innovative in utilising available resources to help improve outcomes for people and prevent homelessness.
