Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

MustHave (Ideally should not be more than 410)

1. Experience in Test automation using BDD test frameworks (e.g. Behave or Cucumber)
2. HIL Test Automation using either of dSPACE Vector or NI

• dSPACE Automation Desk Control desk
• Vector CANoe CAPL vTestStudio
• NI Test Stand Labview

3. Experience in programming language such as Python or Java
4. Manual feature testing using dSPACE Vector or NI tool chain
5. Problem solving / debugging skills

GoodtoHave

1. Working experience of Agile/SCRUM methodologies
2. Automation design / architecture experience
3. Version control management using Git.
4. Automotive domain knowledge in any of domains such as Body Electronics ADAS Infotainment Powertrain etc.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Understanding of test requirements from the test automation perspective
2 Analyse the Gherkin test cases prepared by Domain Engineer and propose the changes in Gherkin phrases needed if any from automation perspective
3 Design and develop Test script implementation in BDD framework and also development the necessary automation libraries for the target HIL test environment
4 Test Execution on HIL setup and debugging/issue fixing
5 Version Control of all test automation artefacts and Release into Production
6 Good written and verbal communication skills; especially status reporting and client communication
