Role Overview

As a highly strategic and tactical leader you will play an instrumental role in leading the ABGi USA sales and marketing teams in unity toward common goals and the firms overall vision sharing is growth. In this role you will be a key member of the US leadership team and partner with technical leaders on business strategy and collaboration on the current client portfolio. As a highly experienced gotomarket strategist you will create innovative marketing plans that have a clear and concise ROI and are actionable within the industry. You can scale teams and manage both onsite and remote workforces while also traveling as needed to meet role demands. As a seasoned business development and marketing executive you have a proven track record and network to lean on to develop your employees and leverage to bring in net new logos from both the middle market to enterprise. You share the belief that inclusion is for all.

A Day In The Life (Responsibilities)

  • Lead develop and manage the ABGi USA direct sales CPA Channel and marketing organization on a day to day basis providing strategic direction both operationally and management
  • Provide strategic direction planning and analytics to the US and Visiativ leadership team on performance management sales and marketing strategy including managing a sales and marketing budget on an ongoing basis

Sales and Business Development

  • Develop and execute selling strategies and client retention strategies across the department
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts that allow leadership to effectively capitalize on opportunities manage issues and measure performance
  • Responsible for leading the new business sales and CPA channel and identifying key areas of opportunity or gaps within the sales cycle
  • Oversee the CPA Channel and identify resources needed to optimize partner and alliances program
  • Oversee recruiting and training of employees in partnership with Talent Acquisition and determine key hiring metrics
  • Effectively drive and manage metrics through Salesforce and partner with internal teams to data driven decisions through the use of the CRM
  • Act as a handson operational business development leader and be the face of ABGi in the external marketplace and industry events as defined

Marketing and Innovation

  • Represent the voice of the customer to ensure marketing strategies programs and tactics help the brand connect with key clients (market & brand research).
  • Oversee the creation and execution of a comprehensive marketing plan that includes digital marketing content creation events and traditional marketing tactics
  • Frame marketing in alignment of professional services and with the CPA channel.
  • Oversee external and thirdparty marketing vendors and marketing budget along with lead generation in support of sales activities with one effort: driving revenue.
  • Continually raising the profile of optimization of ABGi USA marketing profile to compete and be visible within the industry while creating internal KPIs for internal marketing team.

Leadership

  • Operate as a change leader by identifying adopting and taking on new approaches that enhance the client experience efficiency and profitability.
  • Build and develop the sales force team with a keen eye towards influencing without authority and the ability to assess and motivate team members to raise the bar to their highest potential
  • Build and foster meaningful relationships with highlevel executives both internally and externally that lead to strategic partnerships enhancing ABGis footprint in the market
  • Participate and engage with all internal departments to create inclusion unity and shared collaboration
  • Continue to raise the bar of talent and performance of the marketing and sales teams while creating ongoing succession and talent development planning.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience with a blend of both business development and marketing background; with at least 5 years experience in a professional services industry preferred
  • Minimum of a bachelors degree is required with a MBA or a postsecondary degree is preferred
  • Must have a proven track record of leading growth sales teams in multiple locations that have scaled
  • Proven track record of implementing complex and strategic marketing plans including implementations of CRMs
  • Experience working with global companies is preferred
  • Experience working within the tax credits and incentives industry is highly preferred
  • Successful track record of leveraging data and analytics to understand performance and improve results
  • Ability to be a data driven leader and followthrough with ongoing reports
  • Ability to travel both nationally and internationally as needed.

Previous experience with merging teams and implementing training programs is highly preferred
