Cobol Mainframe Developer

Title: Mainframe Developer (remote option) Duration: 6 months with possible extension (s)
Location: Remote
Requirements: Recent experience in systems analysis development and project implementation (5 years);
Programming experience in an IDMS/COBOL /JCL/Z/OS mainframe environment (5 years);
Experience in IDMS programming language online IDMS programs and transactions IDMS COBOL online and Batch coding (ADSO IDD ADSC MAPC DDDL DMLO OLP PFCH DME);
Experience with Job control language (JCL);
Experience with Oracle;
Experience with SAS VegaSoft VSAM SPF TSO/ISPF in the Z/OS mainframe environment;
Experience with IDMS screen mapping (symbolic and physical);
Experience in application production support and IT customer service;
Experience leading a team
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Provide technical and system support for the Code Enforcement Section;
Provide technical support to the existing Legacy Code Enforcement system (COBOL/IDMS) and its multiple integrations with other County systems including XML integrations using Vegasoft;
Provide technical support to the systems substantial batch reporting functionality;
Provide technical support to Ad hoc processes required to satisfy complex reporting requirements;
Develop documentation and track system changes;
Work with business analysts and endusers to test and implement new reporting requirements and integrations with external system. Nava Surya
