Job Description: They are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our dynamic healthcare team in Singapore. As a Registered Nurse you will play a critical role in providing holistic nursing care to patients across various healthcare settings including hospitals clinics and community care facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Assess patients physical and emotional needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications treatments and interventions according to prescribed protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patients vital signs symptoms and progress and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Provide patient and family education on health management medication administration and postdischarge care instructions.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort by maintaining a clean and organized environment adhering to infection control protocols and implementing fall prevention measures.
- Clinical Documentation:
- Accurately document patient assessments interventions and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR) or paperbased charts ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Complete nursing assessments care plans and other documentation in a timely and thorough manner reflecting the patients condition and response to treatment.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members including physicians therapists social workers and support staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and caregivers providing emotional support answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Participate in patient care conferences case reviews and interdisciplinary meetings to contribute insights share information and facilitate care coordination.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure issued by the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Minimum of 12 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care community care or specialty nursing area preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to multitask prioritize workload and adapt to changing patient needs and clinical environments.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
