Location: Chenai India

Technical perimeter:

The service is part of the quality assurance framework of POE components in the context of validation of industrial processes in suppliers by technology both in new projects and process robustness in series life (corrective and preventive). The provision is to follow suppliers from China and part of the perimeter of loose parts mechanical parts that are assembled in the OEMs vehicle facilities and the latter delegates to our client the quality assurance and piloting.

Requirements:

• Minimum training: Technical Engineer.
• Knowledge and experience of electronic technology product/process since a large part of the perimeter will be related to these processes.
• Knowledge of manufacturing design and validation of automotive components.
• Knowledge of Quality tools: system.process and 8D audits analysis and validation of processes (4M Ishikawa 5W IS/ISNOT FTree FMEA RFMEA control plan process capabilities).
• Knowledge of different technologies (batteries/electronics required).
• Knowledge of reading plans.
• Languages: English (Negotiation skills).
• Availability to travel to suppliers and other client centers (drivers license essential).
• Clear and precise verbal and written expression. Capacity for synthesis and presentation in front of the Steering Committee as a pilot of the topic.
• Mastery of office automation at the user level (Office).
• Be based in Chennai or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

• Work transversely with the rest of the functions (manufacturing logistics product engineering process engineering purchasing TQF Customer Quality).
• Ensure the quality of the supplier response within the expected deadline criteria and format.
• Report definition and monitoring of system audit actions process audit and nonconformity audit and Firewall.
• Piloting Preventive activity in supplier process: Feed and apply database with Lesson learned by technologies RFMEA Audits and restriction of process windows.
• Decide organize and pilot Task force with supplier. And synthetically scale the progress status action plan and closure visibility.
• Firewall Management: KPIs (control points and rejection ratio).
• Escalation to purchases: preparation of a dossier with the main topics and arguments.
• Warranty incident management. Including reporting to the client plant when requested as one voicepilot of the topic.
• Ensure compliance with indicators by the supplier. Pilot an action plan with the lowest performing suppliers to return to the expected level.
• Pilot supplier in the Project phase in terms of process validation: ensure that the quality of the documentation and progress status of the process is according to the agreed deadline.

Work regime:

• Taking into account the particularities of the service to be provided it will be with Homeoffice with specific trips to the suppliers facilities.
• In the case of India it must be based in Chennai or surrounding areas (where most of the suppliers are located).

Duration:

The duration will be 24 months between July 1 2024 and July 31 2026.
