Food And Beverage Server

We are looking for a dedicated Food and Beverage Server to join our clients team contributing to their commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences. If you have a passion for hospitality excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanour we invite you to apply for this position.

Work Setting: Restaurant

Requirements:

• Education: College CEGEP or other nonuniversity certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Responsibilities:

• Address customers complaints or concerns
• Prepare and serve specialty food at customers tables
• Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash credit or debit cards travellers cheques or room billings
• Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
• Advise on menu selections
• Balance cash and record sales
• Clear and clean tables trays and chairs
• Greet patrons present menus make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
• Serve food and beverages
• Take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
• Assist clients/guests with special needs
• Provide customer service

Security and Safety: Criminal record check.

Computer and Technology knowledge:

• Electronic cash register.
• Point of sale system.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

• Work in a fastpaced restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Stand for extended periods and move throughout the dining area.
• Lift trays carry trays of food and beverages and serve customers efficiently.

Work Term: Permanent

Work Language: English

Hours: 35 hours per week.
