About the Role
As a Human Resources Intern you will play a pivotal role in our talent acquisition process. You will be tasked with identifying attracting and assessing candidates to ensure we maintain a talented and diverse workforce. This internship offers valuable handson experience in recruitment allowing you to develop essential skills in HR management.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and updating job descriptions to attract top talent.
- Utilize various online channels including social media and professional platforms like Naukri Indeed and Behance to source potential candidates.
- Craft engaging recruiting emails to entice passive candidates.
- Screen resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates.
- Conduct initial interviews via phone video and inperson meetings.
- Coordinate and administer assessments including numerical language and logical reasoning tests.
- Advertise job openings on our careers page social media platforms job boards and internally.
- Provide hiring managers with shortlists of qualified candidates.
- Facilitate job offer negotiations and address candidate queries regarding compensation and benefits.
- Monitor key HR metrics such as timetofill and source of hire.
- Participate in job fairs and organize inhouse recruitment events.
- Collaborate with managers to anticipate and address future hiring needs.
- Act as a consultant to new hires assisting with their onboarding process.
Requirements
- Previous experience in HR recruitment or a related role is preferred.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases.
- Proficiency in sourcing techniques and understanding of referral programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong judgment and decisionmaking abilities.
- Pursuing or possessing a Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management Organizational Psychology or a relevant field.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of various online recruitment channels and platforms.
- Comfortable with team management responsibilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to personal and professional development.
- Active engagement in the Human Resources community.
Background
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management Organizational Psychology or a relevant field.
