Requirements
Over 8 years of involvement in engineering or architecture roles focusing on the implementation of Windows server solutions within expansive enterprise server environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiency across various Windows Server versions includingr2 2008 and 2008 R2 with a strong grasp of Active Directory functionalities.
- Installation and setup of Active Directory domain controllers.
- Configuration of Active Directory servers in alignment with client specifications.
- Rollout of Microsoft security patches.
- Execution of Active Directory environment upgrades following established change management protocols.
- Oversight of system properties policies and services within the Active Directory domain structure including delegation of administrative responsibilities.
- Management of FSMO roles within Active Directory domain controllers.
- Administration of Group Policy Objects (GPO).
- Familiarity with certificatebased authentication and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) systems.
- Deployment and management of DHCP servers.
- Diagnosis and resolution of issues related to Directory Replication services.
- Proficiency in DNS setup troubleshooting and integration with Active Directory alongside expertise in Group Policy and Active Directory security solutions.
- Establishment and removal of Trust relationships.
- Monitoring and maintenance of Active Directory Domain Controller design Schema Organizational Unit (OU) structure replication topology and backup/restore procedures.
- Routine administration tasks including design cleanup and configuration of Active Directory services.
- Creation and upkeep of documentation pertaining to Active Directory environment management.
- Handling and processing of Change requests via Incident/Problem Management systems preferably utilizing SNOW.
- Ensuring the holistic security of the Active Directory domain.
- Conducting root cause analyses for identified issues.
- Implementation of Active Directory remediation measures.
- Adherence to Cyber Security Policy and related standards procedures and guidelines.
- Automation of Active Directory processes using PowerShell scripting.
