Job Advertisement: General Assistant or Apprentice
Location: Parow Western Cape
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as either a General Assistant or an Apprentice. If you have the skills and experience outlined below we encourage you to apply:
General Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist with various tasks related to trucks and trailers.
- Perform general mechanical duties.
- Handle tire fitment tasks.
- Be available to work on weekends.
Apprentice Requirements:
- Previous experience in trucks and trailers.
- Strong mechanical background.
- Proficiency in tire fitment.
- Valid Code 8 driver s license (Code 10 or 14 is advantageous).
Compensation:
- General Assistant: R9000 R12000
- Apprentice: R12500 R15000 (relevant Mechanical qualification in progress required)
Requirements: Afrikaans and English (bilingual a must) Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in transport maintenance. Strong mechanical experience Availability for standby duty and weekend work. Own transport.
