Job Description:

Qualification : BE / B Tech / M Tech mechanical / automotive Lead team of 5 to 10 engineers

1. 3D CAD concept generation for Automotive interior parts (IP DP CC Exterior)

2. Complete 2D CAD detailing of interior trim parts

3. Interface modelling and implementation

4. Assembly and layout preparation as per program requirement

5. Checking for tooling and manufacturing feasibility

6. Class A surface check and feedback

7. Need to follow product standards and guidelines

8. Customer constraints and specifications.

9. Applicable regulations and legislation

10. Ensure process feasibility of the product design and ASurfaces

13. Implementation of RPS GD&T

14. Part Checking for kinematic and clash analysis.

General Competencies:

1. Knowledge of interior plastics trim parts

2. Knowledge of plastic manufacturing and part tooling requirements

3. Good communication

4. Good team player

5. Experience in issue resolution methods

Requirements

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Working experience in CATIA V5.

2. Knowledge of interior trim parts.

3. Knowledge of plastic design and modelling.

4. Knowledge of materials used in interior trim parts

5. Experience in concept and master section generation

6. Knowledge of RPS GD&T and Perceived Quality

7. Basic knowledge of DFMEA

8. Knowledge of DFA and DFM

9. PC Literacy: Microsoft Project Power Point Excel Word etc.
