Job Description

Deputy General Manager Human Resource
Location
Bangalore

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies policies and programs that align with the companys objectives. Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning and organizational development.

  2. Talent Management: Oversee the onboarding process at all levels of the organization to facilitate new employee integration. Develop career development and succession planning programs to foster employee growth and retention.

  3. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the HR team providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration and innovation.

  4. Employee Relations and Engagement: Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues providing guidance and support to managers and employees. Promote a positive work environment and foster a culture of inclusivity collaboration and continuous improvement addressing employee concerns resolving conflicts and championing employee engagement initiatives.

  5. Performance Management: Implement performance management processes to assess employee performance provide feedback and support professional growth and development. Work with managers to set performance goals and objectives aligned with organizational priorities.

  6. Training and Development: Identify training needs and develop learning initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities. Conduct and coordinate training programs and workshops and monitor the effectiveness of training programs.

  7. HR Operations: Oversee HR operations including payroll benefits administration HRIS management and recordkeeping. Implement and maintain HR processes procedures and systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

  8. HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws regulations industry standards and company policies. Stay uptodate on changes in employment legislation and proactively address any compliance issues.

  9. Compensation and Benefits: Develop and administer a compensation and benefits program including salary structures bonuses and incentives. Conduct market research and analysis to ensure the companys compensation and benefits packages remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.

  10. HR Metrics and Reporting: Utilize HR data analytics and metrics to track key performance indicators identify trends and make datadriven decisions to optimize HR processes improve workforce planning and support business decisionmaking.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field. Masters degree preferred.

  • 15 years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role preferably within the manufacturing or technology industry.

Desired Skill & Characteristics:

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices employment laws and regulations.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software systems.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fastpaced environment.
