Position: Business Development Manager


Location: England (Remote)


Salary: Up to £47000 OTE per annum

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to enhance our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for both sustaining strong existing client relationships and aggressively pursuing new business opportunities. This role requires a high level of autonomy and motivation with a strong focus on achieving personal KPIs. While this is a remote position the selected candidate will be an integral part of a collaborative team offering substantial support and guidance.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust relationships with both new and existing clients.

Drive new business from initial contact to closure managing the entire sales cycle.

Deliver on personal KPIs while contributing to team goals.

Manage all aspects of account maintenance including compliance with health and safety standards during enrolments.

Utilise CRM systems effectively for tracking activities and ensuring accurate reporting.

Participate in localised marketing campaigns and maintain active engagement with the Marketing department.

Provide excellent customer service thereby promoting a positive image of the company.

Strategically manage a regional business development plan targeting both new and existing accounts.


People Management:

Foster a positive engaging team environment encouraging open communication.

Maintain professional competency and continual personal development.

Support team flexibility and contribute to the wider business needs.


Quality & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with initial assessments and enrolments.

Maintain high standards for sales and learner enrolments.

Adhere to company policies and safeguarding commitments.


Growth:

Consistently monitor and enhance business development performance against KPIs.

Efficiently convert leads and referrals into business opportunities.

Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients.


Required Qualifications:

Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths.

Level 4 in Information Advice & Guidance.


Experience:

Proven track record in exceeding sales targets within a fastpaced environment.

Familiarity with CRM systems and B2B pipeline management.

Experience in developing new business opportunities preferably within the apprenticeships or adult education sectors.


Skills:

Strong IT proficiency particularly in Microsoft Office learner management systems and CRM.

Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills within a sales context.

Ability to create and deliver impactful sales presentations.


Behaviours:

Highly motivated sales and targetdriven.

Ability to motivate and engage stakeholders effectively.

Enthusiastic and energetic with a pragmatic approach to problemsolving.

Passionate about achieving business objectives.


Additional Requirements:

Must possess a driving licence and have access to a vehicle as travel is essential for this role.
