Head Network Administrator

• Configuration and installation of various network devices and services (e.g. routers switches firewalls load balancers VPNVOICE PBX QoS)
  
• Network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs patches hot fixes and security configurations
  
• Monitoring system resource utilization trending and capacity planning
  
• Providing Level2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
  
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
  
• Liaising with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
  
• Documentation of Policies and knowledge base.
  

Requirements

• BSc/Ba in Information Technology Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. CCNP NSE4)
  
• Proficiency of networking protocols (e.g. IPSEC HSRP BGP OSPFEIGRP 802.11 QoS)
  
• Understanding of VPN Technologies
  
• Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
  
• Proficiency of LAN Technologies (Vlans;TrunksEtherchannels Spanning Tree)
  
• Handson experience with NextGeneration Firewalls (Fortinet Cisco Firepower) Handson experience with monitoring network diagnostic and network analytics tools (e.g PRTG SOLARWIND WIRESHARK FIREPOWER PACKET TRACER)
