Job Description

Job Summary:The Technical Spare Specialist Procurement is responsible for managing the procurement of technical spare parts and components required for maintenance repair and operations within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify spare part needs sourcing suppliers negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of quality spare parts to support uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Spare Parts Procurement: Source and procure technical spare parts and components required for machinery equipment and systems used in manufacturing or operations.
  2. Supplier Management: Identify and qualify suppliers capable of providing quality spare parts at competitive prices. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  3. Negotiation: Negotiate pricing terms and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and reliability of spare parts.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage spare parts inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability for planned maintenance activities and emergency repairs while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.
  5. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure that spare parts meet specifications and comply with relevant standards and regulations.
  6. Technical Expertise: Develop a strong understanding of the technical specifications and requirements of spare parts to accurately assess suitability and quality.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance engineering and operations teams to understand their spare parts requirements and priorities. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize spare parts procurement processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory procurement activities and supplier performance. Generate reports and analysis to track key metrics such as procurement costs inventory levels and supplier performance.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements cost savings and efficiency gains in spare parts procurement and inventory management practices. Implement best practices and initiatives to drive continuous improvement in the procurement function.

Qualifications .

Dae mechanical Required

12 years experience in procurement.
