Lifeguard

FILINVEST COMPANY: TIMBERLAND HIGHLANDS RESORT

This position is responsible for providing guest service within the Sports and Leisure facilities of the Resort in accordance with established procedures and standards for courtesy and timelines as well as lifeguarding duties as necessary. This position is responsible for the order and cleanliness of all Sports and Leisure facilities and equipment taking into consideration the established cleanliness standards for said areas.

• Responding to customer requests
  
• Meets customer whenever possible
• Practices maximum flexibility and creativity when dealing with special customers
• Ensure the area the facility and equipment are clean orderly and working.
• Checks on guest amenities and supplies in the areas to ensure that these are sufficient for the days operations
• Respond to guest inquiries on the sports and leisure facilities and services making sure that information given is complete accurate and timely.
• Notes down all reservations and appointments ensuring needed information are requested from guests and recorded
• Briefs guests on whatever safety instructions needed prior to performance of any activity
• Preforms lifeguarding duties prioritizing life and safety of guests especially children who are staying at the pool area
• Gives out towels at pool towel outlet collects used towels coordinates with Laundry on replenishment of these areas and maintains records as specified in established procedures
• Keeps immediate superior promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner
• Performs any other duties and tasks that may be assigned by immediate superiors from time to time

Qualifications

• Oral and written proficiency in English
• Ability to organize and conduct sports events and other groups activities
• Atleast 1 year experience in Lifeguarding
• Graduate of Physical Education or related course
