Tasks
- Managing and maintaining the companys internal IT systems including servers network infrastructure and applications (Docker Ansible Git)
- Providing technical support to employees troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Implementing new software and hardware solutions ensuring compatibility and seamless integration with existing systems
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement proactively implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and uptime
- Maintain documentation of IT systems and processes
- Liaising with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure
- Implementing security measures to protect company data and systems from threats
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related subject
- More than 3 years of experience in the provision and development of modern IT infrastructures
- Experience with various operating systems primarily Linux (Ubuntu Server) Windows and Mac OS
- Good knowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN)
- Experience with server and storage technologies (virtualization SAN/NAS)
- Experience with cloudbased infrastructures and services (primarily Google & MS Azure)
- Experience with implementing webbased automation and workflows between different services (Jira Google Docs)
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- You are competent to independently take responsibility for critical parts of the infrastructure but also do not hesitate to ask for help in a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Very good verbal and written communication in German and English
