Personal Attributes Education & Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant engineering or technology discipline i.e. MSc BEng BSc (Hons) or similar.
• Willingness to travel internationally and relocated to work sites including offshore.
• Be able to work independently with little supervision but strong sense of responsibility
• A good command of English both verbal and written.
• A good command of verbal Mandarin with reading being an advantage.

Position Recommended Qualifications Experience & Skills;

• Minimum 12 years of work experience in oil and gas of which 8 years must be related to upstream offshore sector. Project and operational Experience in a similar role with an Oil and gas Operator an advantage.
• Familiar with pipeline/umbilical codes and standards such as DNV and API code and other applicable international standards and Codes of Practice.
• Familiar with the detailed design of offshore facilities construction commissioning and operations of the facilities.
• Knowledgeable in the design and operation of production facilities including large Processing Platforms and integration with subsea equipment and other offshore facilities.
• Intimate familiarity with offshore engineering site fabrication and construction installation precommissioning and commissioning offshore hookup and commissioning and direct operations support and trouble shooting.
• Previous experience in gas field operation and facilities an advantage.
• Working experience in South East Asia or China is an advantage.

Position Role and Responsibilities

• Act as Company Umbilical Riser and Flowlines Engineer overseeing the EPCIC contractors engineering and responsible for defining the requirements of infield flowlines manifolds FLETs Risers and Umbilicals etc.
• Ensure that all legislative requirements relating to offshore facilities in Myanmar are complied with in respect to the above and are correctly implemented.
• Interface with other engineering disciplines on their requirements and ensure the requirements are incorporated within design & integration of the equipment.
• Establish and monitor technical procedures for inspection and maintenance of URF equipment to ensure their effectiveness and safety in process during fabrication installation and commissioning phases.
• Monitoring the Engineering Contractors equipment design specifications/ integration activities and progress during the Design Phases.
• Development and review of static and dynamic flowline flow assurance simulations created for the project and facilities for the different operating scenarios and design case conditions.
• Respond to technical queries deviation & exception to specifications codes and standards undertake and/ or participate in project studies and liaison with equipment vendors.
• Interface and coordinate within the Companys project management team and other discipline engineers on matters relating to engineering design procurement fabrication offshore installation hookup & commissioning and support the performance management of EPCIC Contractors.
• Ensure technical compliance accuracy quality and execution of all aspects of offshore design in design procurement fabrication offshore installation and testing.
• Provide support for pipeline related onshore construction activities including spool FLET and Riser fabrication and testing pipeline coating qualification testing and any required support engineering or followon engineering. This includes technical support as required to Procurement and Quality Assurance groups.
• Perform review of offshore pipeline design analyses / calculations:
• Pipeline Design Basis Pipeline Route optimization Wall Thickness calculation onbottom stability analysis Expansion analysis Freespan analysis Riser and tie in spool analysis crossing design and analysis On bottom roughness analysis Cathodic protection design Lateral buckling Dropped object and trawl gear impact study Installation analyses (static and dynamic) Tie in Lifting Analysis etc.
• Carry out and/ or review flowline material selection and material takeoffs and other technical reports.
• Develop and/ or review field layouts route map alignment sheets crossings riser GA drawings etc. for flowline and umbilical design
• Review technical requisitions datasheets specifications technical bid evaluation vendor data review technical clarifications inspection and test plans Criticality Rating etc. for pipeline items such as Line pipes Induction Bends Subsea Flange/fittings Coating Subsea Valves etc. and others as procurement support engineering
• Develop and/ or review procedures and/ or specifications for precommissioning commissioning startup and operation of the flowlines.
• Provide Construction and Installation support and perform site visits as required.
• Liaise with Companys quality precommissioning/ commissioning and startup teams and assist in the review of work and startup procedures evaluation and resolution of technical issues active participation in review workshops and inspection to ensure the work is carried out safely and with the minimum interruption.
• Perform equipment bid clarification and evaluations from a process perspective and attend preaward and coordinator meetings between equipment suppliers.
• Provide Company interface to the legislative bodies (e.g. Certifying bodies) with respect to the equipment and safety issues.
• Provide process input into HAZIDs HAZOPs SILs and other safety related analysis and documentation.
• As part of the PreCommissioning and Commissioning teams provide direct support to yard commissioning activities in regards to planning development of procedures interface coordination and execution of the works.
• Provide assistance during the offshore installation and hook up campaigns as required.
• Providing operational/ technical support after hand over of the facilities firstly from contractor and then to Operations & Maintenance Department.
