Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Project Engineer

Location: Midland Georgia

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage manufacturing projects from initiation to closure including planning scheduling and execution phases.
• Develop detailed project plans timelines and budgets and monitor progress against milestones and deliverables
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including production engineering procurement and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment with project objectives
• Identify and mitigate project risks anticipate challenges and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines and budgets
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes enhance product quality and reduce production costs
• Conduct feasibility studies process evaluations and costbenefit analyses to support decisionmaking and project prioritization
• Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing operations troubleshooting issues and implementing sustainable solutions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements safety standards and quality management systems in all manufacturing activities
• Update status reports present project status to customers and work project management to ensure productive and consistent customer communication.
• Understand and adhere to all export control regulations.
• Travel locally onsite to the customer facility several days per week as needed and comply with all customer site requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or related field
• 7 year(s) of relevant experience
• Expert understanding of manufacturing processes equipment and systems
• Proficient in project management tools and methods; MS Project Lean Six Sigma Agile ect.
• Outstanding analytical and problemsolving skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding customer interfacing skills
• Demonstrated leadership abilities
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in manufacturing project management preferably in a regulated industry such as aerospace
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and manufacturing automation technologies
• Knowledge of regulatory standards such as ISO 9001 AS9100 or FDA regulations
• An understanding of engineering outsourcing business practices
• Experience writing or creating standard work establishing processes and documenting lessons learned
