Tasks

• Provide legal advice and guidance on all aspects of data privacy and protection laws including GDPR CCPA and other relevant regulations
• Develop implement and maintain privacy policies and procedures to comply with existing and emerging legal standards
• Conduct data protection impact assessments and ensure continuous compliance with privacy laws across all business operations
• Work closely with the IT and security teams to ensure alignment between security measures and privacy regulations
• Lead the response to data breaches and other privacyrelated incidents including managing any necessary notifications and mitigations
• Review and negotiate data processing agreements and other related contracts to ensure they meet legal requirements

Requirements

• Resident in Germany
• Fluency in English and German
• Bar admission is a plus.
• Min. 4 years of PQE as with a legal department or law firm
• Proven expertise in data privacy law
