Accounting Assistant

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements reports and budgets.
  
• Handle daytoday accounting tasks such as accounts payable/receivable journal entries and bank reconciliations.
  
• Ensure compliance with Philippine taxation laws and regulations including BIR mandates and tax reporting.
  
• Prepare and file tax returns accurately and in a timely manner utilizing BIR eFPS or other relevant platforms.
  
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors to facilitate smooth audits and resolve any accounting or taxrelated issues.
  
• Maintain organized and uptodate financial records both electronic and physical.
  
• Assist in financial analysis and forecasting to support decisionmaking processes within the organization.
  
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
  
• Knowledgeable in handling BIR LOA cases responsible for assisting with the preparation and submission of documents responding to inquiries and ensuring compliance with BIR regulations during audits and investigations
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
  
• Previous experience in accounting roles preferably in the construction industry or similar sectors.
  
• Strong understanding of Philippine taxation laws and BIR mandates.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
  
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment. Prepared to start immediately upon joining the company.
  
• Willing to work onsite within New Manila Quezon City
