Job Description

Note:

  1. Position is Monday through Friday 8am4:30 pm.
  2. Position is hybrid with frequent travel throughout region as well as to the Central Office in Monroe County; Bloomington Indiana to participate in Division meetings. Travel to the Central Office is not reimbursable to the contractor.
  3. Candidate must be flexible with schedule to include working onsite in the Central Office in Monroe County Bloomington Indiana as needed. Travel to the Central Office is not reimbursable to the contractor.
  4. Candidate is required to attend quarterly meetings in Indianapolis. Travel to Indianapolis is reimbursed to the contractor.
  5. Candidate must reside within the Southern Region of Indiana. Please list County Candidate lives in
  6. Candidate must have a valid unencumbered drivers license.
  7. Onsite pickup of provided equipment to the Central Office is required. Travel to the Central Office to pick up equipment is not reimbursable to the contractor.

The Community Based Contract Compliance Auditor will be part of a regional team that provides onsite monitoring and reviews community based contracted provider businesses.

  • The auditor will conduct reviews throughout regions which covers the bottom half of the state. Community Based reviews will evaluate services and billing to assure there are no errors and billing has been performed appropriately. The auditor will educate recommend and create plans of corrections when any errors are found.
  • The auditor will conduct audits throughout the same regions as listed above. Community based audits will be a more comprehensive look at a providers practices from point of service to billing. The auditor will educate recommend and create plans of corrections as well as pursue any financial damages to the state within this process.
  • The auditor will travel in a team to contracted provider locations to conduct reviews and audits. The auditor will also be part of a larger statewide team that will have weekly team Teams meetings monthly division Teams meetings and quarterly face to face meetings in Central Office in Marion County.
  • The auditor will be responsible for suggesting process improvement within the team and within the division and will be responsible for adhering to all applicable state laws policies service standards and procedures. The auditor will be responsible to participate in trainings to assist them in maintaining a full understanding of their position and its responsibilities.
Travel: Travel to provider locations within the regions is required. Travel will be as frequent as twice a week. Four times a year the auditor will be required to travel to Central Office in Marion County to participate in a Division meeting
