Job Description

Position: IT Benefits Analyst

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee employee benefits programs encompassing health insurance retirement plans and company perks.
  • Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries clarifications and issue resolution regarding benefits.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to ensure precise and timely enrollment changes and terminations in benefit plans.
  • Conduct routine audits and assessments of benefit data to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with vendors and thirdparty administrators to address benefitrelated concerns and ensure seamless program operations.
  • Analyze benefit usage trends and data to offer insights and recommendations for enhancing benefits and managing costs.
  • Stay abreast of changes in benefit laws regulations and industry trends to maintain compliance and competitiveness.
  • Develop and distribute communication materials presentations and training sessions to educate employees on benefits and encourage participation.
  • Participate in the annual benefits renewal process including evaluating plan designs negotiating with vendors and facilitating open enrollment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in benefits administration ideally within an IT or techoriented environment.
  • Thorough understanding of employee benefits programs spanning health retirement and voluntary benefits.
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey complex benefit concepts to employees of all levels.
  • Analytical acumen to interpret and analyze benefit data and trends effectively.
  • Detailoriented approach with a focus on accuracy and compliance in benefit administration.
  • Proficiency in benefits administration software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with benefit laws and regulations such as ERISA ACA and HIPAA.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines prioritize tasks and work both independently and collaboratively.
