Qualifications::

• A bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics Mathematics Computer Science Economics or related fields is often required. Advanced degrees (Masters or Ph.D.) can be advantageous especially for senior roles.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL Python R or SAS.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau Power BI or matplotlib/seaborn in Python.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques for data analysis and interpretation.
• Familiarity with data manipulation and cleaning techniques.
• Understanding of database management systems and data warehousing concepts.
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform data mining and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling can be beneficial for some roles.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to extract insights from data.
• Attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to identify trends patterns and anomalies in data.
• Problemsolving skills to address complex datarelated challenges.
• Comfort with quantitative analysis and statistical methods.
• Entrylevel positions may require some internship or project experience involving data analysis.
• Midlevel and senior positions typically require several years of experience in data analysis roles with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights.
• Experience with data visualization statistical modeling and working with realworld datasets is often sought after.
• Familiarity with specific industries or domains such as finance healthcare marketing or ecommerce may be required depending on the employers needs.
