Job Description

As a Welder/Fabricator you will oversee fabricating and assembling metal structures and components according to specifications and blueprints. The Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for welding, cutting, and shaping metal using various tools and techniques. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products while adhering to safety standards and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Fabricate and assemble metal components and structures using welding equipment and tools such as MIG, TIG, and stick welders.
• Cut, shape, and bend metal using saws, shears, torches, and presses.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure that fabricated parts meet dimensional and quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Collaborate with other members of the production team to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding/fabrication preferred.
• years of experience as a welder/fabricator in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
