Main Objectives

SolarEdge is recruiting process engineers to work at the lithiumion battery manufacturing plant (Sella Plant 2) in the hightech industrial complex in Eumseonggun Chungcheongbukdo. As a process engineer the candidate will be in charge of quality analysis and optimization such as improving the quality of mass production improving the new engineering method mass production of new models improving the quality of materials and improving the quality of customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work closely with battery R&D team for introduction of new process methods and new model at mass production.
2. Detailed parameter setting and confirmation for implementing each process.
3. Ability to manage immediate actions for troubles occurring during each process.
4. Process suitability review through installation and testing of developed or newly manufactured equipment
5. Operating procedures safety protocols and maintenance plans for large scale chemical process equipment.
6. Support operations teams with achieving productivity and material quality targets on pilot and commercial scale systems.
7. Analyze and improve material flow processes from manufacturing facilities optimizing for process lead time space and cost.
8. Create documentation for training materials such as work instruction and standard operating procedure.
9. Analysis of the cause and establishment of improvement plan through the dismantling of defects by process
10. Management for Manufacturing BOM and Tact Time and Production Capability.

Requirements :

Required Qualifications

• Experience in lithiumion battery/material process development and related industries (4 years or more)
• Engineering majors (chemical engineering machinery materials chemistry electricity electronics etc.)
• Business English speakers
• Experienced in production/manufacturing facilities

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to utilize quality analysis tools such as Minitab
• Understand CAD and Design Drawings
