About the Role
Designation : Sales Manager
Objective:
To support the achievement of brands targets and Objectives through achieving excellence in sales and retail.
Responsibilities & key tasks:
Planning
Plan Forecast and Deliver Sell Out and Sell in across allocated territory
Input into the Planning process.
Proactive Business development
Input for efficient inventory planning with partner & brand
Coordination and compilation of orders after showing the range to all customers.
Financial
Influence a healthy stock turn ratio with partners
Insuring Timely and accurate reporting by partners
Achieve DSO target & responsible for collections
Work on partners profitability & return per sqft. for the brand
Financial reconciliation with partners
Responsible for Fixed assets at partners premises
Systems and Processes
Maintain sales forecast & Timely replenishments
Maintain relevant financial information for ones partners
Implement the sales pricing and commercial policies
Manages interdepartmental relationships with all other departments
Provide market intelligence to Brand Manager focusing on market trends and shifts competitors & customer information new
product performance etc.
Operations
Planning and achieving the monthly sales out & Sell in targets for all Partners.
Ability to manage & Develop partners & key accounts
Ensure implementation of Brand norms and operational standards at partners POS
Drive the business of Brand and the partners
Assist at Novelty presentation & order collection for his/her Partner.
Achieve quality VM at partners POS
Ensuring customer claims and issues get addressed in time
Manage healthy relationships with all business partners.
Support the training process for the floor staff
Resolve Customer Concern in time
Human Resource Management
Generate a high level of teamwork between all departments
Actively participates in all departmental level training and development initiatives and
activities
Key performance indicators:
Achievement of sales in & Sell out targets
Control of Accounts receivables
Network servicing coverage
Market share
Health of business partners
Increase of Average ASP
Stock turns

Educational Qualifications:
MBA or Equivalent
Other Senior degrees from good institutions
Experience:
812 years of experience in sales and distribution with atleast 2 years in Lifestyle Brand sales preferably with a MNC
Experience in handling retailer network and managing key accounts
Core Competencies:
Understanding of the business and retail operations
Adept at driving sales numbers
Daily discipline in work
Financial Acumen to drive logical discussions with partners
Quick learner and adaptable
Technical Competencies:
Strong product knowledge
Proficient in excel & Power point
Attention to detail
Lifestyle Brand sales preferably with a MNC
