Job Description
1. Coordinate the preparation of periodic management account and analysis.
2. Coordinate timely preparation of Group ExCo Report with analysis to aid Management decision in line with set targets.
3. Prepare Interim Financial Statements for the holding company as well as group financials and analysis.
4. Setup accounting system for new subsidiaries and coordinate the preparation/ review of other subsidiaries account.
5. Prepare board reports with analysis of variance with previous month and Budget; highlighting level of achievement on previously communicated initiatives and new strategies by Opco Business teams to improve performance.
6. Oversee the application of new relevant IFRSs compliance with regulatory guidelines proper classification and mapping of SFP and SOCI items in financial Statements.
7. Ensure the automation of processes and use of Fintrak application to aid process efficiency.
8. Liaise with regulatory agencies CBN FRCN SEC NGX etc. on all relevant engagements.
9. Develop subordinates skills and competencies by planning development activities related to current & future job responsibilities.
Requirements
This role requires that the job holder:

Develop and comply with the systems procedures rules objectives and timescales set by the organization and adopt a disciplined approach when undertaking tasks.
Generally motivate people to give their best results encouraging them and recognizing their performance when things go well. Apprise them of improvements which can and should be made when performance is below standard.
Provide simple practical solutions and complete all assignments thoroughly and timely.
A First degree from an accredited university. A professional qualification in Accounting (ACA ACCA) is mandatory.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of relevant 5 years handson experience
