Design Engineer - Mechanical

To document work via electronic format in an organized traceable process.

To be conversant in the use of the Companys Mechanical design and drafting.

To work within budgetary constraints in a cost effective diligent and organized manner.

To provide accurate estimates of the time required for design and drafting tasks.

To identify standardization opportunities.

To provide technical assistance for Technical Data Sheets and Product Manuals.

To update drawings from requested changes via the Engineering Change Note system (ECN) and question any changes that do not appear to be valid or cost effective.

To commit to quality by working in accordance with design department procedures approved manufacturing methods materials and relevant standards.

To provide support to the sales department where necessary with proposal drawings.

To maintain the design department library of master drawings in an organized and proper condition.
