Job Description
Job Title: Junior Mechanical Designer
Location: Windsor ON
Shift: 8 am 4:30 pm
Salary Range: $23 $37 per hour depending on experience
Our company is seeking a Junior Mechanical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to building design projects including preparing status reports reading specifications and drawings verifying contractor work timeline management selecting equipment and conducting cooling calculations.
Key Responsibilities:
This position offers opportunities for professional growth and development in a fastpaced environment. Frequent travel including occasional international trips to client sites and facilities may be required.

Our company is seeking a Junior Mechanical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to building design projects including preparing status reports reading specifications and drawings verifying contractor work timeline management selecting equipment and conducting cooling calculations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge and understanding of mechanical systems building design codes and standards
- Operating computerassisted engineering and design software
- Creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD and/or Software
- Liaising with clients and contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Providing technical consultation and recommendations for mechanical system problems
- Conducting field checks on completed designs
- Assisting with mechanical cost estimating and project documentation
- Working towards certification as an Engineering Technology Professional in Ontario (preferred)
- Must have a technologist diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
- Must have 13 years mechanical building system engineering design experience
- Must have experience in AutoCAD Autodesk Suit Revit BIM360 or ACC
- Dental Vision Medical coverage
- Massage therapy etc.
- RRSP Matching after 1 year of employment
- Sponsorship for further education and license acquisition as needed by the company
