Board Enablement Software Engineer fmd

Position Description

Cinemo continuously extends its platform coverage. We want to ensure that the focus remains on sustainable hardware platforms and that these platforms function flawlessly providing a solid foundation for Cinemo products. For that we are looking for an experienced Board Enablement Software Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Execute board bringup activities in tracked clean and reproducible manner
• Contribute knowledge and expertise to the process of selection of new boards for the company needs
• Proactive cooperation with other teams and departments like Demo and Quality Engineering
• Internal documentation creation for the hardware platforms in case publicly available one is not enough
• Maintain produced distributions and toolchains

Experience & Skills

• 5 years of experience in automotive embedded or similar industry
• Solid understanding and handson with either Yocto project or AOSP build system
• Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Experience with Linux kernel development/debugging is a plus
• Experience with multimedia technologies is a plus
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
