Job Title: Project Accountant
Location: Lekki Lagos
Job Overview:
Our clienta dynamic conglomerate renowned for its expertise in Real Estate and other industriesis looking for an experienced Project Accountant to manage financial aspects of real estate projects. The Project Accountant will be responsible for budgeting cost tracking financial reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project budgets and forecasts in collaboration with project teams.
- Monitor project costs and expenses identifying variances and addressing issues.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Collaborate with project managers to optimize project profitability.
- Provide financial guidance and support to project teams.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and financial models.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting preferably in real estate.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
Requirements The requirements listed below are representative of the Knowledge, Skill and/or ability required to perform this job satisfactorily: Minimum of a HND/ BSC in Estate Management or Similar discipline 5 years minimum experience in a similar position in a reputable organization Must be able to demonstrate your experience of managing property and projects The candidate should be confident, a self-starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment Must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgement showing logical decision-making, and a hands on approach Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and leadership skills
