Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
Business Development Manager is responsible to spreadhead the Company s expansion into international markets for export sales and the food service sector. The key role is to manage in formulating and executing strategies to drive business growth build lasting partnerships and establish our presence globally.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to expand export sales and penetrate the food service market aligning with organizational objectives.
  • Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities in targeted international markets driving increased revenue and market share.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with international clients distributors and partners ensuring exceptional service and fostering longterm collaborations.
  • Conduct indepth market research and analysis to identify trends customer preferences and competitive landscapes providing actionable insights for strategic decisionmaking.
  • Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure synergy between sales strategies and product development initiatives
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations negotiate contracts and secure favourable terms to drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics generate reports and derive actionable recommendations for continual improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for product development tailored to meet the demands and preferences of international markets.
  • Oversee the food service sales channel identifying key accounts and implementing strategies to maximize market penetration.
  • Lead and inspire a team of sales professionals fostering a culture of excellence collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of international trade regulations and ensure strict compliance with export sales regulations and protocols.
  • Represent the company at industry events trade shows and conferences enhancing brand visibility and establishing industry presence.
  • Travel extensively both domestically and internationally to meet clients explore opportunities and solidify partnerships.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline sales operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Carry out duties in complying to Company s Food Safety System Company s Environment Guidelines Company s Health and Safety Guidelines Company s Policy and Procedures etc. by maintaining evaluating and continuous improvement.
  • Perform task and work requirement as and when required and assigned.
AUTHORITIES
  • To formula proposes implementing and monitoring assigned distributors and customers selling activities.
  • To conduct customer satisfaction or feedback survey

Requirements

  • Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration Marketing or a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in food service and export market within the FMCG Sector
  • Proven track record in successful business development within export sales and food service industries
  • Extensive experience in international sales demonstrating a deep understanding of global markets.
  • Fluent in English Malay and Mandarin
  • Local and Overseas Travel is required
  • Outstanding communication negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive initiatives from conceptualization to execution.
  • Leadership experience adept at managing and motivating a highperforming sales team.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to diverse business environments.
  • Proficiency in CRM software MS Office and other relevant sales tools
