JOB DESCRIPTION:

Who you will work with

As a senior network consulting engineer you will work with key IT decision makers and network SMEs of our clients to help assist them in implementing and adopting Cisco wireless. In addition you will have a strong internal interlock with Cisco Wireless BU Cisco wireless support teams to provide a seamless experience to customers.

What You Will Do

Plan design and implement secure and scalable Cisco wireless network

Build a bestinclass RF environment

Operate and support customer network using DNAC

Troubleshoot and resolve any critical production network issues

Provide event support and ensure promised KPIs in the production network

Predictive survey on Tool

Active Survey on Field

Parameter Optimization for WiFi Network tuning.

Who You Are

Typically requires BS in a technical field (CS/ECE preferred) or equivalent plus 10 years of relevant work experience

Experience with Meraki WLAN deployment is mandatory

Cisco and(or) industrylevel certifications (CCIE CWNP etc.) would be highly desirable

Expert knowledge in Campus Networking RF design & wireless network design for large enterprises with indoor and outdoor areas.

Troubleshooting WLAN issues Fabricenabled wireless SDA Meraki portfolio

Experience in defining new portfolios for customers crafting new opportunities and working with engineering in new product development strategy

Experience in managing large accounts as SPOC for Consulting PDI optimization & migration projects. Exposure to enterprise High Density & IOT domains.

Experience in building large customer strategies (CRD HLD) for entire campus network not just limited to wireless

Technologies WiFi6 Python good understanding switching routing and SDA

Handson Product Knowledge Product Knowledge Cisco WiFi 6 access points Catalyst 9800 wireless controllers DNAC ISE DNA spaces Meraki

Scope

Interfaces internally and externally with customers senior leadership other Engineers Partners field personnel delivery Managers internal engineering departments and product organizations.

Complexity

Is a technical expert in a broad area covering multiple technologies with indepth expertise in Enterprise Wireless domain. Applies product behavior across industry practices. Knows how the technology is expected to work in the industry.
