Job Description

Job Title : Sr. Sales Manager India HVAC

We are now looking for one

Senior Sales Manager India

to join our Industrial Measurements Sales organization.

Your primary responsibility in this role is to develop and manage our channel partner network in India for our broad industrial measurement instruments offering which includes highend humidity highend carbon dioxide measurement instruments and Continuous Monitoring System for HVAC Industry.

You are required to own named key customers in HVAC industry and work closely with them to unearth their needs for high end measurements help build technically superior solutions and win business in a sustainable and profitable manner.

You will personally drive profitable sales growth by executing sales actions. You will report to the General Manager India.

The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years sales experience in distributor management instrument sales with experience in the HVAC industry.

The position will be based in Mumbai India.

Key responsibilities:

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Developing individual country sales plan in consultation with all the relevant stakeholders to achieve a sustainable market across our existing and new product offering.
  • Manage key customers and drive sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Channel Partner Development and Management which includes
    • Working with and managing distributors to ensure sales targets are achieved.
    • Monitoring performance of existing distributors sales and marketing campaigns.
    • Analyzing new markets and seeking out suitable distributor candidates.
    • Organizing regular distributor trainings to ensure product knowledge stays up to date.
    • Supporting distributors on sales cases by providing timely response to technical and pricing queries.
    • Developing sales tools for distributors.
    • Joint customer visits with distributors.
  • Communicating market requirements back to product management teams
  • Defining and agreeing on marketing actions with marketing and business management.
  • Business performance reporting for your area of responsibility and Internal meetings with your supervisor and/or product management team.

Qualifications:

  • B.Tech. (or equivalent) in Engineering (Preferably Electrical Electronic or Mechanical)
  • Experience in pan India sales and channel management
  • Knowledge of HVAC communication protocols
  • Experience in both instrument sales as well as project sales. Experience in selling testing and measurement instruments security and surveillance systems to HVAC industry would be highly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel (40% to 60%)
  • Negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
