Position: Purchasing Bottom Specialist

Company Overview:

Our client is a subsidiary of German Shoe Manufacturing a leading footwear company located in Semarang. They are specializing in producing highquality shoes for both men and women. The company has been in Indonesian industry for over 33 years and they are known for their commitment to quality and innovation.

Job Summary:

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Bottom Shoes Specialist to join the client team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing all materials and components needed for the production of shoes. This is a fulltime position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design plan and implement sourcing and purchasing strategies for Bottom Part include search/source potential suppliers/vendors and existing suppliers/vendor management.
  • Assescurrent material availability reasonably predicts future availability based on the market delivery systems and other variables.
  • Collaborates with other departments and leadership to identify and develop needs and requirements include quality for materials cost products and acceptable substitutions.
  • Evaluates negotiates and approves conditions for issuing and awarding bids.
  • Prepares and processes purchase orders and requisitions for materials supplies and equipment.
  • Maintains and/or implements purchasing and recordkeeping systems include database of approved suppliers.
  • Drafts explains and implements instructions policies and procedures for purchasing and contract management.
  • Resolves grievances with vendors contractors and suppliers.
  • Coordinates removal or disposal of surplus/deadstock materials.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Track measure and analyze company expenditures (budgeting)
  • Work with superior to determine and track KPIs.
  • Provide reports for upper management.
  • Adhere to laws rules and regulations custom.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing procurement or SCM preferably in the footwear industry.
  • Mastery of bottom part database and offer refernce
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control.
  • Familiarity with sourcing and purchasing processes.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software ERP system.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
