Test Engineer

Tasks

• Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts to validate the functionality performance and reliability of our software applications.
• Conduct various automated testing activities including functional testing regression testing system testing and integration testing.
• Contribute to the further development and expansion of the automation of our test processes.
• Identify and report software defects issues and inconsistencies through detailed bug reports ensuring clear communication and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including developers principal architect and other testers to understand project requirements identify testing needs and ensure comprehensive test coverage throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Stay uptodate with industry best practices emerging technologies and advancements in software testing.

Requirements

• BS degree in Telecoms Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.

• ISTQB or any other related test certifications.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a test engineer in the telecommunications industry or a similar domain.

• Strong understanding of telecommunications concepts technologies and products such as networks protocols telephony data transmission and wireless communication.

• Network protocols (TCP/IP and one or more of Diameter HTTP SS7 SCTP) incl. analyzing network traces with various tools.

• 3GPP and IETF protocol standards.

• SNMP and Network Management Systems.

• Handson experience with test planning test case design test execution defect tracking and test reporting.

• Experience with test management and test automation tools such as Cypress Jenkins Jest and Python.

• Experience implementing test tools to support automation and performance testing.

• Experience coordinating the setup of test environments for all planned test execution activities.

• Attention to detail is a must.

• Strong analytical thinking and problemsolving abilities to identify analyze and troubleshoot issues encountered during testing.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in crossfunctional teams building relationships and effectively communicating with stakeholders.

• Be a selfstarter have a positive approach to problems provide innovative solutions to problems anticipate the customers needs

• Be an effective communicator leader of self and others an influencer of positive change and progress

• This role is located in the Netherlands. Please note that only applicants with a valid legal working visa will be considered for this position.
