Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the strategic development of SEN provision across the school ensuring that all children with SEND are fully supported to achieve their academic and personal goals.
  • Coordinating the identification assessment and provision for children with SEN working closely with teachers parents external agencies and other stakeholders.
  • Providing guidance and support to staff in implementing effective teaching strategies and accommodations to meet the diverse needs of children with SEND.
  • Collaborating with the senior leadership team to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practice in SEN provision.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN coordination or a relevant SEN qualification.
  • Indepth knowledge of SEND legislation policies and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and empower colleagues to deliver highquality SEN provision.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusion and equality of opportunity for all children regardless of their individual needs or backgrounds.
