Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and organized Production Planning Executive to join our team specializing in aluminium doors and window products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning scheduling and inventory management within a manufacturing environment. This role will play a critical part in optimizing production processes ensuring timely delivery of products and maintaining efficient inventory levels to meet customer demands and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Production Planning and Scheduling:
Develop comprehensive production plans and schedules for aluminium doors and window products based on customer orders sales forecasts and inventory levels.
Coordinate with crossfunctional teams including manufacturing procurement and logistics to ensure alignment between production schedules and resource availability.
Monitor production progress identify bottlenecks or potential delays and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule adherence.
Utilize production planning software or ERP systems to create and manage production schedules ensuring accuracy and visibility of production activities.
2. Capacity Planning and Resource Allocation:
Analyze production capacity and capabilities to determine optimal resource allocation including manpower equipment and materials to meet production targets.
Work closely with production supervisors and department heads to balance workloads optimize machine utilization and minimize downtime.
Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components needed for production minimizing stockouts and production delays.
3. Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials workinprogress (WIP) and finished goods maintaining appropriate stock levels to support production schedules and customer orders.
Implement inventory control measures such as ABC analysis safety stock calculations and inventory turnover optimization to minimize carrying costs and ensure product availability.
Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to reconcile inventory discrepancies and identify opportunities for process improvements.
4. Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to optimize production processes reduce lead times and improve operational efficiency through data analysis and performance metrics.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement process improvements lean manufacturing principles and best practices in production planning and scheduling.
Participate in regular meetings and performance reviews to assess production performance address issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
