Job Summary Responsibilities include:
- Operates medical imaging equipment that directs highfrequency sound waves to anatomy for diagnostic purposes.
- Responsible for choosing the correct settings and directing the patient to move into positions that will offer the best view.
- Consistently obtain highquality imaging for Radiologist interpretation.
- General understanding of PACS (Picture Archive Communication System) and its function.
- Documents patient care services by charting inpatient and hospital records.
- Able to interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured.
- Ability to utilize specialized computerized equipment to produce crosssectional images of the human anatomy which aid Radiologists in diagnosing diseases and/or disorders.
Requirements:
Education: Two year college (Associate’s Degree)
License: ARDMS (AB) Required
ARDMS (AB) and (BR) Preferred
