Playrix is one of the most successful mobile game development companies in the world. Our projects Township, Fishdom, Gardenscapes and Homescapes are some of the most popular casual mobile games and their unique casual art is created by a large team of experts.
We are looking for an art director whose decisions will directly influence the visual perception and success of our projects.
In this position, you will face many interesting challenges: taking on the development of the visual part of the product, rethinking current approaches to graphics and effects, managing a strong team of artists. Together with the project producer, you will have a unique opportunity to make strategic decisions, bring art games to a new level of quality and expand your resume with a project with a multimillion-dollar audience.
We expect:
- Strong product vision, high artistic taste and observation, understanding of quality balance;
- Understanding of production pipelines and features of graphics development for games;
- Excellent understanding of concepts and rendering;
- Experience in developing characters, illustrations, isometrics and interfaces;
- Mandatory presence of a strong portfolio with examples of casual 2D graphics
- Ability to see errors in graphics and give constructive feedback to the team;
- Experience in team assessment and development;
- Knowledge of the global mobile games market and graphics trends;
- More than five years of experience in the gaming industry.
