We are looking for a dedicated and detailoriented Business Analyst to join our Net Zero data pod. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) and Water data inventory management and forecasting maintaining data quality and driving our sustainability initiatives through data improvements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop statistical models to uncover patterns and insights from data; identify trends and discrepancies.
- Create data visualization using industrystandard tools such as Tableau to translate complex emissionsrelated data sets into insightful visual representations
- Provide decisionmaking support by translating data insights into actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with the carbon accounting and data engineering teams to align data analytics with the organizations overall sustainability goals and internal data structure.
- Prepare reports for leadership that effectively communicate trends patterns and predictions using relevant carbon data.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver targeted data analytics to inform datadriven decisionmaking
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree in Mathematics Statistics Computer Science Information Systems Environmental Science or a related quantitative field.
- 8 years of experience analyzing data.
- Experience in carbon accounting sustainability or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau Power BI etc.
- Highlevel proficiency in Microsoft Excel including knowledge of advanced formulas Pivot Tables Graphs etc.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to translate complex findings into simple and actionable business insights.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy even when working under tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in a related field.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications such as SQL Python etc.
